Save the Date: "Scrap Pink" Crop...September 26-28
  Scrapbooks etc. is partnering with Susan G. Komen for the CureŽ to hold a “Scrap Pink” fundraising campaign in September 2008 at stores across North America. CMK will host an online crop the weekend of September 26–28, 2008. At this event, scrapbookers like you can create layouts and projects based on the challenges and inspiration posted by our design team on September 27th. We will also host a "Note to Self" Online Class during this event. Your ten dollar crop fee donation will support Komen for the Cure’s promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all, and energizing science to find the cures. Very cool!!! That's the same weekend I'll be away at a scrappin' retreat with some church friends!
 Maybe I'll be able to take in some challenges when I get back!

Sounds fun and it is for a wonderful cause. I will be unwinding Saturday as it is the day after the annual conference I host each year ... so what better way to unwind. Now if I could convince my guy to get satellite internet by then ... that would make it sooooo much better.
