We celebrated Christmas tonight with my family. Had a wonderful dinner and a fun time. But the best part?.....

My parents got me a Nikon D70s digital camera. I'm so flippin excited!!!! I've been wanting one for a while now. Then just recently Nikon stopped making them so my chances of getting that camera weren't looking so great.

But not any more! :D They also got me a mouse for my laptop and a memory card reader for my laptop! Tonight so rocked!!!

Ok, I'll stop bragging now. But I just had to share the good news!!!

Trust me...it's not like this every year. My mom has always done the shopping when we were growing up. And now my dad wants to be in on the action, only he tends to get the real expensive stuff. So he doesn't do this every year. But if there's a year when one of us really really wants something, he just might buy it.

My dad has enjoyed (or wished he had time to) photography over the years. And my mom has mentioned me doing a family shot now that we are complete (that is until the grandkids start having kids).

We are leaving town this morning, but on the way out, I am going to buy a memory card and a camera bag. Good thing my husband is a slacker and hadn't purchased me anything yet!!:D
