Hi girls! I just had a little tip for dealing with a photo with a distracting background. Maybe you don't want to remove it completely, but you want your focal point to stand out more?
What I like to do is apply Distress inks (like walnut stain) to the background so that it darkens it up. Leaving the focal point in the lighter area. I use a sponge or something to apply the ink.
Let me show you an example. I wanted my daughter to stand out more. I didn't want the viewer's eye to go to the playground equipment.

Hope you find this useful! :)
